Former Delegate Luke Terry Remembered

On February 25, 1999, the House of Delegates adopted a resolution, H.R. 22, in memory of the late Luke Edward Terry, a former Berkeley County resident, who served in the Legislature from 1957-58 and 1971-1976. Participating in the ceremony were Speaker Robert Kiss, Delegates John Overington, Vicki Douglas, Larry Faircloth and family member Mrs. Luke Terry, Michael and Kay Burkhart, Luke and Jane Terry, Rebecca Farrow and Elizabeth Terry. Luke Terry serve with distinction in the legislature and had also spent many years assisting the Farm Bureau.
