Little Miss Berkeley Schools Visits the Governor
Miss Tabatha Porterfield (front) along with her Grandparents Janie and
Ronald Butts meets with Governor Cecil Underwood and Delegate John
Overington in Charleston. Ten year old Tabatha, Little Miss Berkeley
County Schools, visited the capitol on February 16, 1998. In addition
to meeting the governor, she met Secretary of State Ken Heckler and
other state officials and served as a page for the Legislature.

Berkeley County Friends for Visit and Buffet
Bruce DeHaven and his wife, Dott Helmick, along with a friends from
Berkeley County join Delegate John Overington for a visit and buffet
supper at the Governor's Mansion on February 14, 1998, the last night of
the 60- day legislative session.
