Born June 5th, 1946. The son of Robert Bruce and Helen Besley Overington. Married to the former JoAnn Bertaux. Member of the Episcopal Church. Education: Washington College, B.S.; George Washington University; Shepherd College.

Former Educator. Worked in Industrial and Employee Relations and as a Production Supervisor. Past Editor of a weekly newspaper. Served as member of the West Virginia House of Delegates since being first elected in 1984. (Last election results - 1996)
